Meet Splash Omnimedian, Jason Hubbard

Jason Hubbard joined the Splash Omnimedia team November of 2017, making him the newest member of our team. When he’s not editing video footage and mixing audio, Jason enjoys making music and learning more about technology. We had the opportunity to sit down with Jason and get to know him a little better.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised right here in Lexington.

What exactly do you do at Splash? 

I’m a video producer, so I help out with video production, photography, and whatever else the team needs.

What’s an interesting fact about you?

I built a PC for a friend in the backseat of his car on the way back from Georgia (and it worked)!

What moments can you think of that “shaped your life?”

I think one of the most important moments in my life was when I discovered music. I started teaching myself guitar about five years ago and it has been a great creative outlet ever since. 

If you were to write an autobiography, what would you title it?

“Do or do not, there is no try.” I love Star Wars…

What do you think the world needs more of? 

Kindness. Love makes the world go ’round.

What do you like to learn about?

Technology. It’s constantly evolving so there’s always something new to read about.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Someone who made a difference in the world.
